Copy of Will
This is the last Will and Testament of me John Jackson of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, Yeoman.
I give and Devise unto my son Richard Jackson his heirs and assigns all my Real Estate, being the farm lot or track of land Situate on the road leading from Pictou to Cape John whereon I now reside, together with all my interest and estate in all and any Real Estate lands tenements and hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever, whether in possession, revision, remainder, or expectancy To Hold the same to my said son Richard Jackson his heirs and assigns for ever.
I also give and bequeath to my son all the personal Estate and effects of or in which I shall be possessed, or any manner interested at the time of my decease, to and for his on absolute use and benefit, And I hereby declare and direct that my said son shall take the said Real and Personal Estate, so devised and bequeathed upon and subject to the following charge and Trust, to wit, that he shall allow my daughter Isabella to have so long as she shall remain unmarried the free and exclusive occupation and use for herself alone of a convenient room or apartment in the house now situate on the land so devised or in any house thereon which my said son shall own. And further that on the marriage of my said daughter, the said Richard shall pay to her for her own use, and free from the suit or control of her husband the sum of five pounds.
And I appoint my said son Sole executor of this my Will and revoke all other Wills by me made at any time.
In witness whereof I have to this my Will Subscribed and set my hand and Seal this nineteenth day of September in the year of our Lord, One Thousand and Eight hundred and forty five.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John Jackson late of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 19th day of February A.D. 1880.
