Will of James Brown Deceased

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I James Brown of Lime Rock in the County of Pictou, Farmer, do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

I will devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Jane Brown all my real estate and personal property that may belong to me or at the time of my decease for her own personal use and disposal and when heirs and assigns forever.

Second I will that my executor at the decease of my wife pay to my niece Margaret Brown at present Margaret McIntosh of Mount Dalhousie one hundred dollars out of monies belonging to me or at the time of my decease and other monies in Bank at the house or Bank accounts or interest to be at my wife's absolute disposal.

And I do nominate and appoint my said wife executrix and James William McGill of West River Station executor of this my said last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereto my hand and seal subscribed and set this seventh day of October A.D. 1901.

Signed Sealed and executed by the said James Brown as his last Will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

I John D. McLeod of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper written is true copy of the last Will and Testament of James Brown Late of Lime Rock, in said County, Farmer, deceased, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in said Court on the 17 day of June AD 1903.
