Estate of Hector Barclay late of Hopewell, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I Hector Barclay of Hopewell in the County of Pictou, Province of Nova Scotia Farmer, make this my last will.
I give, devise and bequeath my Estate real and Personal as follows that is the say I give devise and bequeath the Nelson VanBuskirk and to his heirs and assigns all my Real Estate which I now possess west of the Intercolonial Railway also I give devise and bequeath to Nelson Van Buskirk my personal property which includes farming utensils and livestock excepting one Cow. I give devise and bequeath to my sister Isabella Barclay and to her heirs and assigns all my Real Estate which lies on the east of the Intercolonial Railway. I also devise and bequeath to my sister Isabella Barclay one Cow. the said Cow to be maintained by the said Nelson VanBuskirk for the use and benefit of my sister Isabella Barclay for her lifetime and her maintenance. I also give devise and bequeath to my sister Isabella Barclay one undivided one half of the House and furniture that I now possess for her lifetime.
I appoint Daniel Fraser of Hopewell in the County of Pictou Administrator of this my will.
In witness whereof I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my will at Hopewell on the 22nd day of February A.D. 1890.

The said Hector Barclay at the said place on the said day Signed and Sealed this instrument and published and declared the same as and for his lat Will, and we at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto written our names as Subscribing witnesses.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one and a quarter pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament Of Hector Barclay Late of Hopewell in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
