Copy of Will for Registrar of Deeds

I Thomas Adamson of Roger's Hill in the County of Pictou, Yeoman, bequeath my Estate and property as follows,

1st To my own son Richard when he arrives to age the whole Property subject to the payment of my lawful debts and the undermentioned aliments and sums, members of my family respectively

2nd. To my beloved wife Jane 1 cow, 3 sheep with their maintenance summer and winter, 2 lbs Oatmeal, 4 ** Flour, 16 Bushels Potatoes, 9 lbs tea, 40 lbs of Sugar $5 Pocet Money, as much of the produce of Orchard annually as she requires, with a room and bedroom with the Fuel and the use of a horse to Church and Market and on other lawful ocasions, seed time to harvest excepted she must also have the oversight of affairs till Richard comes to age.

3rd. To my son George a home as long as he lives, to be provided with clothes Bed Board washing to be attended to in the times of sickness.

4th. To my daughter Janet &12, with Cow when required (line scratched out but initialed) 18 years of age.

5th. To my daughter Sarah $12 with Cow- Ditto at 18 years of age

6th. To my daughter Rebecca Jane $12 with Cow at 18 years of age.

7th. To my son Thomas William $20 at 21 years of age also a home and all due attenshun when necessary.

8th. To my son Robert $20 at 21 years of age also a home if required till that Period to the other members of my Family bekase If either of my youngest Boy wishes to pursue A Course of learning give them all the help and encouragement Possible.

I appoint Robert MacLeod of Salt Springs, John Carson of Aucharian Administrators of this my Will and Testament.
