Estate of James Hyde, late of Mill Brook, Farmer, deceased, Testate

 Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen.
 
This is the last Will and Testament of one James Hyde of Mill Brook in the County of Pictou & Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer.

First, I will that all my just debts, Funeral and Testamentary expenses be paid.

Secondly, I give, devise & bequeath to my beloved wife Isabella the half of the farm or lands which I now hold, occupy, and possess at Mill Brook aforesaid, Bounded as follows viz. on the west by lands owned by the Heirs of the late John McKay on the north by lands of Hugh McDonald, on the east by lands of the late James McKenzie, and on the North by lands of Peter Ross, Also the half of all my Stock, Crop, farming Utensils and House, and the half of my household furniture & Utensils. By the above I intend to be understood the half of all my real & personal property of whatever name or description.

Thirdly, I give, devise and bequeath to Benvie George Nelson, son of David Nelson my wife's brother the remaining half of my farm or lands described above. Also the half of all my Stock, Crop farming Utensils, House and all the Barns outhouses and the half of my Household furniture and Utensils.
And at the decease of my wife Isabella, I will that that all the above described property both real and personal now willed to my wife Isabella be and become the property of Benvie George Nelson son Of David Nelson my wifes brother without any reserve,

also I appoint & constitute Isabella Hide my wife and John Sutherland to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereto Subscribed my name and set my Seal this twenty sixth day of November in the year Eighteen hundred & seventy nine.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one and a  quarter pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of James Hyde late of Mill Brook in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
