Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
The last will and testament of Hugh Holmes of Hedgeville in the County of Pictou Farmer
I Hugh Holmes considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following, that is to say
1st. I give and devise to my daughter Anniebell Cameron widow of the late John Cameron of Hardwood Hill in the County of Pictou the farm farm on which I reside bounded on the North by lands of Albert Holmes on the West by lands of Albert Holmes and one Daniel Henderson and one John Douglass and on the East by lands of John Sutherland and on the South by the Road leading from River Bank to Holmes Selwood 's House, reserving all on the South side of said Road (insertion of words - initialed) to myself at present both to her the said Anniebell Cameron her heirs and assigns forever
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter the said Anniebell Cameron all the personal property that may be on the farm of whatever kind at my decease on Condition that the said Anniebell shall or cause to be paid to my son George E Holmes the sum of one hundred Dollars ($100.00) of lawful money of Canada.
I hereby appoint William McLean my neighbour to be the executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made
In Witness Whereof I have my hand and Seal Subscribed and Set this twelfth day of February in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Hugh Holmes late of Hedgeville in said County Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 29th day of April AD 1913.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 29th. day of April AD 1913.
