Estate of Samuel A. Holbrook, late of Freeport, Maine, United States of America, deceased, Testate
Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
Be it remembered, that I, Samuel A. Holbrook of Freeport in the County of Cumberland and State of Maine being of lawful age and of sound and disposing mind and memory but knowing the uncertainty of this life, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament.
After the payment of my just debts, funeral charges and expenses of Administration, I dispose of my estate as follows,
First, All the rest, residue and remainder of my goods and estate, that I may die seized or possessed of, of whatever name, kind or description the same may be, whether real or personal, I give devise and bequeath to my two daughters to be equally divided between them, and whose names are as follows, viz: Mrs. Fannie Appleton Lowell, wife of William L. Lowell of Boston, Mass., and Mrs. Julia H. Additon, wife of George P. Additon of Bath, Me. to have and to hold the same to them and their heirs or assigns, share and share alike.
Second. I nominate and appoint William L. Lowell of Boston, Mass. to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament, and I direct that no Surety or Sureties will be required of him upon his official Bond as such. And in case he shall predecease me, and my any administrators shall be appointed with this my last Will annexed, I direct that no surety or sureties be required of said Administrator as such.
In testimony whereof I hereunto Set my hand and Seal, this thirteenth day of August in the year One thousand eight hundred and ninety six.

Signed Sealed published and declared by the above named Samuel A. Holbrook to be his last Will and Testament, in our presence, who, in his presence, the presence of one another and at his request, subscribe our names hereto as witnesses, this thirteenth day of August A.D. 1896.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page and part of a page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Samuel A. Holbrook, late of Freeport in the County of Cumberland, State of Maine, in the United States of America, deceased, Testate, Probate having been granted in that County, Said Copy having been duly filed here, according to the practice of the Court., and law of this Province, the testator being owner of certain real Estate in the County of Pictou.
Given under my hand at Pictou, this 17th day of July A.D. 1897.
