Will of John W Hingley, Deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
This is the last will and testament of John W Hingley of French River in the County of Pictou, Farmer
I the said John W Hingley being of sound and disposing mind do make and publish this my last will as follows,
First - I give devise and bequeath to my wife Christy Hingley during the term of her natural life the lot of land situated as said French River Bounded as follows - on the south side by lands of one Miekle on the east by lands deeded by Alexander Simpson and others, on the north by lands belonging to Roderick McG. McDonald and a lot of land hereafter described on the west by lands belonging to the heirs of David Meikle and John D. Fraser containing one hundred acres more or less, also a lot of land bounded on the south by the above described lot, on the east by highway and lands belonging to John D Fraser on the north by lands owned by the heirs of John Matatall deceased on the west by lands of the said Roderick McG. McDonald containing thirty acres more or less my said wife to have and to hold the same during her natural life. I will devise and bequeath the same to my son Alexander Hingley to him his heirs and assigns forever
Second - I devise and bequeath to my daughters Maggie and Mary Alice providing they marry in Pictou County a cow each also the privilege of a home in the dwelling house in which I now reside while they or either of them remain unmarried My daughter Barbara being already provided for
Third - I give devise and bequeath to my son Jessie James the sum of twenty dollars to be paid by m y Executors hereinafter named out of my personal property also a privilege of a home in the dwelling house in which I now reside while he remains unmarried
Fourth - I give devise and bequeath to my said wife Christy Hingley all my personal property of whatever natural or description which shall remain after paying the expenses of my funeral and paying all my last will and paying all my just and lawful debts and all bequests herein made
I hereby nominate and appoint my said wife Christy Hingley and John D Fraser of French River Farmer the executrix and executor of this my last Will
In Testimony Whereof I the said John W Hingley have to this my last Will and Testament revoking all former wills contained in two sheets of paper subscribed my name and affixed my Seal this fifth day of April A.D., 1902.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of John W Hingley late of French River in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 25th day of June AD 1902.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 25th.day of June AD 1902.
