Estate of Sarah Hill, late of Stellarton, Widow, deceased, Testate
Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I Sarah Hill of Stellarton in the County of Pictou, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
First, I give devise and bequeath unto my son William George Miller the Southern portion of my real property Situated at Stellarton and described as follows,
Beginning on the East side of Main Street at the Centre of a right of way, being the North west corner of the Masons' lot, thence Northerly along the said street thirty feet eight inches or to the north side of the old Hotel building thence easterly along the old Hotel building twenty eight & a half feet, or to the East line of the new building thence northerly along the East side of the new building four and one half feet thence easterly, parallel with the line of the Masons' lot One hundred and sixty and a half feet, or to the west side of the New Road, thence Southerly along sais new road forty feet two inches or to the lands of John Kent and the Masons' lot One hundred and eighty nine feet or to the place of beginning.
Second, I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Jane Ross, the northern part of my real property described as follows,
Beginning on the east side of Main Street at the north west Corner of the old Hotel building, thence Northerly along Main Street forty four feet eight inches or to the line of lands of Donald Gray's lands, One hundred and Eighty nine feet or to the west side of the new road, thence Southerly along the said road thirty eight feet or to the line westerly along the line of the lot hereinbefore described One hundred and Sixty and one half feet, thence Southerly four and a half feet, and thence westerly twenty eight and a half feet to the place of beginning.
Third, I give and bequeath unto my grandson Clarence McLean Miller One thousand Dollars Cash, and also my organ and organ stool, and the watch and chain formerly the property of John Thomas Miller.
Fourth, I give and bequeath unto my said daughter Sarah Jane Ross in addition to the said real property One thousand dollars Cash.
Fifth, I give and bequeath unto my son William George Miller, and my daughter Sarah Jane Ross, all my household and hotel furniture, utensils and moveables, to be divided equally between them, and if they cannot agree between themselves, upon a division of said property then the same shall be sold at auction and the proceeds equally divided between my said Son and daughter.
Sixth, I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of m y property and effects unto my said Son and daughter to be divided equally between them.
I nominate and appoint my son William George Miller, and James Wentworth, Executors of this my Will.
Dated this twenty ninth day of October A.D. 1886.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Sarah Hill, late of Stellarton in the County of Pictou, Widow, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou, this 1st. day of March A.D. 1889.
