Will of Geo. R Atkins
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
In the name of God Amen. I George Reuben Atkins of Pictou in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Gentleman considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say
First - I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife my dwelling house and lot situated in the Town of Pictou and also my house and all the land I own at Harryman's Cove in the County of Halifax during her natural life after which it will be divided in equal shares or parts between my two children Albertha Maria Atkins and Jennie Frances Atkins, I also give and bequeath unto my beloved wife all my claims and interest in my lobster packing business during her natural life with full power to transfer if she so desires, and at her death all proceeds and profits will be divided equally between my two children named above.
I also direct that the remaining residue of my property real or personal will go to my beloved wife.
And lastly I hereby nominate and appoint Minerva J Atkins my wife and William Atkins executrix and executor to this my last will and Testament, revoking all former wills by me made.
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this ninth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of George Reuben Atkins late of
Pictou in said County deceased Gentleman which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 14th day of December AD 1906.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 14th. day of December AD 1906.
