"James died of malaria in Rhodesia, Africa. He was a successful Civil Enginer and graduate of McGill. He married Miss Glasford of Montreal on June 1st, 1930. During his life, he was recognized for his intelligence when declared a Master of Science by McGill at age 21. He graduated as a mining engineer and was awarded the Dawson Scholarship in Geological Research."
