James Davidson, the oldest shipsbuilder in Connecticut, died at home, New London, Conn., April 20th, aged 72. He was a native of Nova Scotia, and went to New London many years ago, and had been a successful shipbuilder, constructing many large merchant vessels, and was pecuniary interested in many of them. He leaves a large family.
