Reminiscent of old prints are the three churches in much the same locations as in Howe's Day, though rebuilt. Barely decernible on the left, what Howe called the Antiburgers' Church, the First Presbyterian Church on Prince Street, then the Kirk Church; in the phrase of Howe's Day. Next, what Howe called the Episcopalian Chuch, St. James Anglican. The fourth church to the right is the Roman Cathoic Church, Stella Maris, though in Howe's time, a chapel a few streets away.
