I, Hugh Henderson of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, Contractor, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament
 
First: I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved Wife, Mary Henderson, all my property both real and personal of every nature and kind and wheresoever situated To Have and To Hold the same to her for her own use during the term of her natural life.

Second: At the death of my said wife whatever of said real and personal property shall remain I will, devise and bequeath the same to my grandson, George H. Henderson his heirs and assigns absolutely forever.

Third: Should the Executors of this my Will to be appointed hereafter, at any time deem it prudent to sell the said real estate power is hereby given to them so to do, and to execute conveyances of the same to the purchaser or purchasers thereof.

Fourth: I hereby release and discharge my said grandson of and from any claim against him for monies advanced to him out of my own funds.

Fifth:  I nominate, constitute and appoint Mary Henderson my said wife, and J. Sim Harris, Sheriff of the County of Pictou the Executrix and Executor of this my last Will.

In Witness Whereof I Hugh Henderson the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament, set my hand and affixed my seal this 15th day of April A.D., 1913.

Signed, sealed and published and declared by the above named Hugh Henderson as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto the day and year above written.

IN THE COURT OF PROBATE

I, John D. McLeod, Registrar of said Court do hereby Certify that the annexed paper is a true and Correct copy of the last Will and Testament of Hugh Henderson late of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, Contractor, deceased  which said will  was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the Twenty-fifth day of August AD 1913.

Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this Twenty seventh day of August AD 1913.
